COURSE OUTLINE: 1.Social Values –We will be examining beliefs and values we may have about alcohol use. 2.Advertising and the Alcohol-We will be looking at alcohol advertising and how it may influence our choices to drink. 3. Alcohol And Young People-This topic will help to provide a basic understanding of the effects of alcohol on young people. 4. Alcohol and Accidents-The relationship between alcohol use and accidents of several types will be analyzed 5. Laws Relating To Young and Alcohol- Overview of varies traffic laws related to the use of alcohol by minors will be presented. 6. Youth and Drinking Problems- An examination of the stages and signs of alcohol abuse will be conducted. 7. Decision-Making – Activities designed to help make quality decisions about the use alcohol will be conducted.
